Delete your Battle Tees data
Battle Tees is made by Vexcom LLC. This page explains how to delete your account and data, and what happens when you do.
Option 1: from inside the app
- Open Battle Tees and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account, then Delete my account.
- If your email is verified, enter the 6-digit code we send to it.
This deletes your account on that phone and on our server: your profile, players, courses, rounds, stats, handicap record and cloud backup. Nothing else is needed.
Only want a clean slate but keep your account? Use Start Over in Settings instead. It erases your library on the phone and in your cloud backup, and keeps your name and email.
Option 2: ask us by email
Email privacy@vexcomllc.com with the subject Delete my Battle Tees data. Include the name and the email address you used in the app so we can find your records. We will confirm by reply once it is done, normally within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile: name, handicap index, email address and photo, and your player keys.
- Your cloud backup (players, courses, round history, stats and personal challenges), its backup tokens and the record of who owns it.
- Your handicap record on our server.
- Your entries in the usage log that carry your name or profile identifier.
- Any pending sign-in or backup links tied to your email, and the unsubscribe code for your email.
- Your Battle friends list, and your place on other players' lists.
- Your Battlefield comments and reactions, and your email choices.
- Blocks you set and blocks others set on you, and reports of a name or photo made by you or about you.
- Your place in Battlefield rounds. A round nobody else still holds is deleted.
What stays
- Scores and tracked shots in rounds you shared with other players stay on those players' phones and in their backups. They belong to the group, and we cannot reach into other people's devices.
- A round you announced on the Community Battlefield stays visible to the friends who saved it, until they delete it.
- For 30 days, our server keeps the deleted profile's identifier so it can't be used again. Your other phones show "This profile was deleted".
- Tee and green marks you added to an unmapped course stay in the shared course map. They contain no personal information.
- If a copy of your data exists in a server backup file, we remove it from there too as part of the same request.
